Corrosion Resistant Linings
For the mining industry

The Mine, Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires specific mining industry requirements. The MSHA requires that the Standard Application Procedures for Sealants Applied to Underground Ventilation Controls be met. The mining industry has an ongoing concern with failing sealant materials. The seals are designed to stop methane gasses from escaping into working areas, causing a considerable threat to mining company employees. It is possible to protect mining company employees from gaseous migration into the working areas by spraying PX-2252.
The threat and need for a superior sealant material led to the creation of the PX-2252.

PAXCON pure polyurea’s are also utilised for corrosion control and chemical resistance within the mining industry.
